6000 Privacy Policy — Malaysian User Data Protection
6000 takes the privacy of every user seriously. This document outlines in detail the types of information we collect, how it is used, and your rights as a registered user in Malaysia.
Updated: 2026. Applicable to all registered members on the 6000.run platform.
1. Information We Collect
When you register or use the 6000 platform, we collect several categories of information to ensure our services function properly and securely.
Account Information
This includes your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and password provided during registration. This information is required to create and verify your account identity on the 6000 platform.
Device & Browser Information
We automatically collect technical information when you access the platform, including device type, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, and time zone. This data is used to optimise the user experience, particularly on mobile devices.
Payment Information
All transactions on the 6000 platform are processed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM / MYR). We record deposit and withdrawal histories, payment methods used (e.g. DuitNow, FPX), and transaction statuses. Full bank account numbers are not stored directly in our systems — processing is handled through licensed payment processors.
Cookies & Usage Data
We use session and preference cookies to remember your settings, maintain your login session, and improve platform performance. Usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and in-platform actions are also recorded for service improvement purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
All information collected by 6000 is used for legitimate, controlled operational purposes. We do not use user data for third-party marketing.
- Identity verification & account security: To ensure only the legitimate account owner has access and to prevent fraud.
- Transaction processing: To accurately verify deposits, withdrawals, and financial records in RM/MYR.
- Platform improvements: Usage data is analysed in aggregate to improve the interface, speed, and mobile user experience.
- Account-related communications: To send important notifications about security, changes to terms, or 6000 service updates.
- Legal compliance: To meet compliance and reporting obligations to relevant Malaysian authorities as required by law.
3. Cookies, Tracking & Data Security
Types of Cookies Used
The 6000 platform uses two main categories of cookies. Essential cookies required for core functions such as login verification and session security — these cannot be disabled. Preference cookies stores your language and display preferences for a smoother return experience. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.
Data Storage Security
All data transmitted between your device and 6000's servers is protected with SSL/TLS encryption. Sensitive data such as passwords is stored in hashed form and cannot be reversed. Account information is kept on servers secured by firewalls and audited regularly to detect any unauthorised access.
We restrict internal access to users' personal data to only those staff who genuinely require it to perform their duties, and all such access is logged for audit purposes.
Data Retention Period
Active account data is retained for as long as your account remains active on the 6000 platform. After account closure, data is kept for the period required under Malaysian law before being securely deleted from our systems.
4. Sharing Information with Third Parties
6000 does not sell, rent, or share users' personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. However, there are limited circumstances where data sharing may occur:
- Licensed payment processors: Transaction information is shared with payment processors (e.g. FPX or DuitNow gateways) solely to complete financial transactions in MYR. These processors are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- Statutory authorities: 6000 will disclose user information to Malaysian authorities where required by court order, applicable law, or a valid criminal investigation.
- Technical service providers: Infrastructure providers such as cloud services that support platform operations may process data in a technical capacity, subject to binding data protection agreements.
In all of the above cases, data sharing is limited strictly to the information necessary and does not exceed the defined scope.
5. User Rights & How to Contact Us
As a registered 6000 user, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about your account at any time.
If your information is inaccurate or out of date, you may request a correction via your account settings or by contacting our support team.
